The trailer for season five of Yellowstone has officially been released, via Entertainment Weekly. In the trailer, we see John Dutton firing everyone, surrounding himself with family, and being sworn in as the Governor of Montana.
From what we see in the trailer, John loves Montana, but will do whatever it takes for his family as he hires Beth, his loving daughter, as his new chief of staff. Elsewhere, Kayce explains how he does everything for his father. Caroline, the fierce CEO of Market Equities, enraged by the actions of the Dutton family, is shown throwing a wine glass. By the end of the trailer, Monica, Kayce’s wife and John’s daughter-in-law, is left saying “When I mean we give everything to this land, we do mean everything.”
Josh Lucas (The Firm) will be returning as young John Dutton. Joining the cast will be Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Kylie Rogers (Home Before Dark) and Kyle Red Silverstein (Blended) with Kai Caster (American Horror Story), recording artist, Lainey Wilson (Strings), Lilli Kay (The Lady Secretary) and Dawn Olivieri (House of Lies) joining the cast.
Yellowstone is a Western drama series created by Taylor Sheridan (Her Costly Affair) and John Linson (The Comedian) that premiered on June 20, 2018. The show takes place in Montana and follows the Dutton family who are owners of the largest ranch. The series stars Kevin Costner (A Perfect World), Luke Grimes (Fifty Shades of Grey), Kelly Reilly (Heaven is for Real), Wes Bentley (Gone), Kelsey Asbille (Pair of Kings), and Brecken Merrill (This Is Us).
