The Repair Shop will be seeing more customers walking through its doors this week in the hopes of having a precious heirloom restored. Many viewers are curious to know more about some of the experts including jewellery restorer Richard Talman.
This week's edition of The Repair Shop saw one couple bringing their vintage unicycle in to get a new lease of life, while a man hoped to get a ring from his late partner brought back to its former glory after sustaining fire damage. One of the show's resident goldsmiths Richard Talman was on the case. In the post from December 2021, Richard shared the selfie with his 4,000 Instagram followers and wrote: “Lovely evening with my girls at @bluebell_railway Steamlights this evening @jentalman83.He previously shared another rare picture with one of his daughters with him in his workshop, captioning the photo: “‘Where it all happens.’Today I had my girls at the workshop and gave them a little demo of life ‘at the bench’.”
The star designed his wife’s engagement ring, according to Great British Life.His wife’s ring isn’t the only one he’s designed, Richard also created a special piece for The Repair Shop’s host Jay Blades for the star’s fiancée Lisa-Marie Zbozen.Jay shared a snap last year with his 145,000 Instagram followers of the ring as he announced: “Good afternoon all. Lunchtime Treat. It gives me great pleasure to announce that I got engaged to @lisamariezbozen.”
