Vanessa Hudgens is a modern-day Audrey Hepburn at the Oscars in a black-and-white gown as she flashes her engagement ring from Cole Tucker

 Vanessa Hudgens made a splash early on Sunday at the 95th annual Academy Awards.The High School Musical star was one of the first to walk the champagne-colored carpet at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.





The raven-haired beauty looked like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn as she modeled a strapless black-and-white gown that went to the floor. The dress is vintage Chanel.The 34-year-old star from Salinas, California wore her hair up into a top knot as she added several pieces of diamond jewelry from Roberto Coin.


One of the biggest pieces was the knockout diamond engagement ring from Cole Tucker. She had on Coin's Cento Collection: Fiore Couture Necklace ($69,560) Fiore Couture Ring ($15,200), and Stelle stud earrings ($59,600).The Oscars will be hosted by late night chat show host Jimmy Kimmel and are being held at the regular venue of the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. 


Top Gun: Maverick has been nominated for six Oscars including Best Picture, in a sign that Hollywood is finally listening to audiences and honoring box office hits instead of arthouse favorites.The movie starring Tom Cruise is nominated for Best Picture along with Elvis, Avatar: The Way of Water, All Quiet On The Western Front and The Fabelmans.While Cruise missed out on a nomination for Best Actor, the nomination for Best Picture could bring him his first Academy Award.  


However, Everything Everywhere All At Once led the pack with the most nominations with 11 and The Banshees of Inisherin earned nine nominations. The two films swept the Golden Globes earlier this month.Elvis, by Baz Luhrmann, has eight nominations, including one for Austin Butler. Best Actress at the Oscars will be a toss-up between Cate Blanchett in Tar and Michelle Yeoh, who won the award at the Golden Globes for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once.
