Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Gary Lineker put the world to rights during random midnight meet-up in Hollywood

Piers Morgan posted quite the star-studded selfie from Hollywood on Monday night as he enjoyed the company – and opinions – of some of his British pals.

The outspoken broadcaster took to Twitter to share a group selfie as he hit the town with Gary Lineker, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli.Having taken a two-week break from hosting his weeknight TalkTV show Uncensored to celebrate his birthday, the 58-year-old appeared to be enjoying some downtime by the pool with his friends.

‘Midnight in Hollywood, and opinions are flying! @BrunoTonioli @GaryLineker @AmandaHolden @Sunset_Tower,’ he captioned the photo, which showed Piers in a navy open-neck shirt with Amanda beaming while under his arm and Gary and Bruno smiling in the background. The tag showed the party was enjoying a night at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, as you do, after Piers saw his high-profile interview with adult star Stormy Daniels cancelled in the wake of ‘security issues’ after former president Donald Trump’s indictment.

Amanda, 52, and Piers of course go way back as former co-stars on Britain’s Got Talent, with Amanda remaining the longest-serving judge alongside show creator Simon Cowell.Presenter Piers joined them for the first four series from 2007, after first debuting on sister show America’s Got Talent, where he stayed for six series until 2011.

Meanwhile Bruno is no stranger to the US as a judge on Dancing with the Stars, where he has sat on the panel from the very first show in 2005.Having left Strictly Come Dancing in the UK after 16 years as a judge, he has now been welcomed into the BGT family as a judge alongside Amada, Simon and Alesha Dixon, with reports from the audition stages seeming to reassure he will bring his usual brand of chaotic energy.
