With March Madness coverage has come regular interruptions for CBS’ regularly scheduled primetime programming. The event is winding down, however, that doesn’t mean the network’s viewers can expect the delays to slow up when it comes to the airing of new episodes of their favorite programs.





NCIS: Los Angeles is a Sunday night must-watch for fans who’ve been tuning into the series for its final run. Is the show getting preempted tonight? Here’s what we know about CBS’s primetime schedule, what’s set to air, whether the series is going to be delayed and, if it is, how long you’ll be waiting for a new episode to make its way to the channel.


Is NCIS: Los Angeles new tonight?

No, a new episode of the series isn’t airing tonight and neither is a rerun. CBS’ Sunday primtetime block is going to be solely covering the 2023 CMT Music Awards which start at 8 p.m. ET and will run until 11 p.m.


Is NCIS: Los Angeles new next week? (April 9, 2023)

No. A Grammy Salute to The Beach Boys is set to air at 8 p.m. and, while the music special is set to wrap by 10 p.m., a new episode isn’t scheduled to release. Instead a rerun of season 14, episode 2, “Of Value,” will air.


In the episode, the team are working a case involving an architect duo who’ve been kidnapped. The pair specialize in designing secure buildings and NCIS is working to get them home safely. As for Deeks and Kensi, they’ll be coming to the realization that Rose could need help when it comes to her school work.


When does NCIS: Los Angeles return with new episodes?
