Netflix has released the first trailer for the Swedish rom-com One More Time, co-created by Young Royals writers Sofie and Tove Forsman.On her 40th birthday, Amelia makes a fateful wish to be 18 again back in 2002," the film's synopsis reads. "But soon regrets it when she's stuck reliving the day over and over again."





In the trailer for the new Netflix movie, we see Amelia (Hedda Stiernstedt) going through a midlife crisis of sorts. Fired from her job on her 40th birthday, she's left feeling like she hasn't made the most of her life.When you graduate, you have so many ideas about your future. Then you wake up one day and you're 40," Amelia says in one clip, as we flash back and forth between Amelia's youth and the present dayIn a moment that changes her fate forever, Amelia says: "I wish I was 18 again."


However, it's a case of 'be careful what you wish for', as Amelia is seemingly hit by a truck and wakes up to discover it's her 18th birthday.While she's initially confused to be a teenager again, the situation soon becomes a novelty for Amelia as she embraces the year 2002 and sets about celebrating her birthday in early noughties style (complete with a rhinestone-encrusted Juicy Couture tracksuit).


"It's amazing, I get to relive everything," she says. "The best time in my life."But the excitement soon wears off after Amelia wakes up to find herself reliving the same day over and over in an endless loop.Faced with the potential reality of reliving the same day, Amelia is forced to do some reflection on her younger self and her values before deciding that if she really is a teenager again, she's going to do things better this time around.
