Finally, some good news for the fandom has arrived! Here is everything we know so far about Reacher Season 2.

The long-awaited second season isn’t far away, and filming has wrapped after being in the works since the fall of 2022. This is a great update for fans, even though there is still time for the network to confirm the official release date, which the fandom has been waiting for to see how Jack Reacher’s story will unfold further. However, for your consideration, we think that the second season, just like the first one is expected to premiere sometime in mid-2023.

There is no doubt that the series will return in the first half of this year, as Vernon Sanders, head of Prime Video Television, also hinted at the same to Collider. On the other hand, the release window is just speculation, and we need to be patient for these details to be confirmed. In the meantime, watch the official video message shared by Amazon, which features none other than Alan Ritchson being blooded up on the final day of filming, with the caption, “That’s a wrap on #Reacher Season 2.”

The second season will be based on “Bad Luck and Trouble.” It is the eleventh book in the Jack Reacher series written by Lee Child. It was published in 2007 and written in the third person. The plot of the book follows, from a helicopter high above the California desert, a man who is sent free-falling into the night.

On the streets of Portland, Jack Reacher is pulled out of his wandering life and plunged into the heart of a conspiracy that is killing old friends and the people he once trusted with his life. Reacher is the ultimate loner—no phone, no ties, no address. But a woman from his old military unit has found him using a signal only the eight members of their elite team would know.

Then she tells him a terrifying story about the brutal death of a man they both served with. Soon Reacher is reuniting with the survivors of his team, scrambling to unravel the sudden disappearance of two other comrades. But Reacher won’t give up—because in a world of bad luck and trouble when someone targets Jack Reacher and his team, they’d better be ready for what comes right back at them.
