Alan Rickman already had cancer when he played 'Severus Snape' in 'Harry Potter'

In the midst of what would have been his 76th birthday, this is how Alan Rickman held on to his role as 'Severus Snape' in 'Harry Potter' through cancer.

It was a day like today but in 1946, when one of the most representative and beloved characters from the famous ' Harry Potter' saga was born in London, England , actor Alan Rickman , who gave life to 'Severus Snape' and was diagnosed with cancer in full recordings.

It is worth mentioning that the famous fantasy saga starring Daniel Radcliffe is still considered the best in history, so its characters were also immortalized by different talents. One of those who started out as the villain of the story and over eight installments ended up winning the hearts of all was that of 'Severus Snape', who in the last film revealed the magician's true intentions. However, in real life, his interpreter was going through one of the most difficult stages of his life, so he saw in the fantasy saga an opportunity to get out of any problem.

Just when the recordings of the fifth film had begun: 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', Rickman was diagnosed with a very aggressive prostate cancer for which he had to undergo surgery and start strong treatment.Although there was much speculation about the departure of the actor, who was apparently going to be replaced, nothing ended his desire to give life to the teacher and leader of the 'Slytherin' house.

This news was released at the end of last year, as this was when the medium, 'The Guardian' revealed the memories that the actor left about his life and how the character helped him to move on. Despite the fact that the British star passed away on January 14, 2016 after the cancer spread through the rest of his body, so far this stage of his life is known. It is about a book published in October of last year called : "Madly Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman", where it was revealed that just weeks after having undergone surgery, Rickman wrote with relief that he had been able to say yes to the fifth 'Harry Potter' film .
