The Verminator, a classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain, is reborn as Verminator Z, a terrifying creature with a new beastly form.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have faced off against their fair share of dastardly villains, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Armageddon Game: Opening Moves #2 introduces a dark and twisted version of one of the Turtles' classic foes - the Verminator.
Through their storied history in comics, television shows, and movies, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have always had an iconic rogues gallery, with a new villain seemingly around every corner of New York City. One of these villains is the Verminator, a half-cat, half-machine cyborg first appearing in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic series. Verminator is originally a Mutant Cat named Manx who takes an apprenticeship under Donatello, but his experimentation with cybernetics drives him to a life of villainy.
With his cybernetic upgrades, Verminator is a formidable foe on his own, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Armageddon Game: Opening Moves #2 completely transforms Verminator into a monstrous and vicious creature the likes of which the Turtles have never seen before. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Armageddon Game: Opening Moves #2 by Tom Waltz and Fero Pe, on the planet Hirobyl in Dimension Z, the villains Null and Noi Tai Dar are hunting an alien named Cherubae, who seeks refuge in a cave. Null and Noi Ta Dar unleash a terrifying beast they call Verminator Z. Verminator Z is a giant, tiger-like creature made to seek and hunt. The Verminator name has seemingly been handed to a new cybernetic beast in IDW's TMNT canon, making for a terrifying reimagining.
