etflix has released what is on its way to being one of the movies of the year. Starring Ana de Armas Blonde is a biopic different to those we are used to watching in the cinema fantastically directed by Andrew Dominik. The director wanted to move away from the legendary image of Marilyn Monroe whose real name was Norma Jeane and delve into everything that was behind the spotlight luxury and apparent happiness.
In a raw and intense journey through that tunnel of excess, manipulation and sadness the 54 year old Australian filmmaker also focused on a part of Marilyns life that until now was somewhat taboo. Monroe was allegedly subject of sexual abuse by powerful men of the time including the then president of the United States John F. Kennedy. It turns out that everything happened during a private jet trip. Marilyn was found collapsed on the floor of the plane after consuming drugs and alcohol and later she appeared on the bed of the former US president.
Thats when Kennedy who attending a business call asked Marilyn not to be shy sticking his hand under the sheets. Marilyn somewhat dazed from the effects of alcohol and barbiturates moved his hand looking away. But the strongest moment came when according to the film Kennedy grabbed Monroes head and forced her to perform oral sex. Clips from that surprising scene have since been shared online.
