Entitled Gucci Savoy, the collection features items for every travel need.
In 1901, Guccio Gucci, a young Florentine who would become the founder of the maison , was the doorman at the Savoy Hotel, a reference destination for tourists who strolled through London. So much contact with cultures from around the world made Italians fall in love with the world of travel. Now, in 2022, Alessandro Michele , the brand's current creative director, celebrates the past through the Gucci Savoy collection, which includes bags, necessaires and other essential items when crossing borders.
“Traveling for Gucci has never been purely physical. Gucci is the brand that has accompanied Hollywood artists, writers, actors and directors on their travels...place, as well as those who, past and present, choose Gucci because they understand the meaning of creativity used to build imaginary places.” says creative director Alessandro Michele.
Through the lens of photographer Glen Luchford, actor, screenwriter, director and musician Ryan Gosling - star of the campaign - shines.
