Amanda Holden popped the cork on some champagne as she reached the top of Ben Nevis after some hairy moments on her gruelling charity climb.
The Britain's Got Talent judge, 51, took on the Three Peaks Challenge, scaling the highest mountains of Wales, England and Scotland Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis .It meant battling wind, rain and even snow as she climbed more than 10,000 feet in 24 hours .Speaking as she reached the last summit, the TV star said it was "the hardest thing" she had ever done and that she was so happy.
"It's an absolutely extraordinary thing, she said in a video shared on Instagram .I'm sure tomorrow when I look back on it I won't believe that we achieved it because there were some moments where I just didn't think we were going to make it. In another clip, Holden admitted there were points of the climb where she was terrified.
"Oh my God there were some hairy moments, I'm not going to lie," she said .I didn't think I'd make it," she added .The star was inundated with messages from fans and celebrity friends as she shared clips of her adventure on social media .Former X Factor star Alexandra Burke said she was "proud", while presenter and chef Lisa Faulkner said Holden was "amazing".
Designer Kelly Hoppen posted: Unbelievable, what an inspiration you are .Holden took on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the charity Make Some Noise, the official charity of her Heart radio station .Before she set off, she joked that she had made sure to pack her lip gloss, stilettos and lashes.
