Lucasfilms expansion via the Disney+ streaming platform has proven to be highly beneficial to the Star Wars universe and since the collaborations inception in 2019 the franchise has produced several hit shows including the standalone Obi Wan Kenobi series which saw the triumphant return of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen to the whimsical world of Star Wars after 17 years.
Most of you are probably aware by now that the series which was originally intended to be a big screen offering cut cameo appearances from several notable characters and it turns out that one more Jedi might have been originally included in a haunting sequence in Chapter 4.
Official artwork posted on the Artstation website by ILM senior concept artist Kouji Tajima reveals that Jedi Knight Pablo Jill nearly made an appearance in Obi Wan Kenobi. For the uninitiated the character made his first live action appearance in Attack of the Clones where he was involved in the First Battle of Geonosis. He was later cut from Revenge of the Sith but it is believed that he was among the casualties of Order 66.Tajima did not exactly say much about Pablo Jills involvement but it's safe to assume that he would have been included in the scene where the titular character finds himself in a chamber filled with deceased Jedi.
Meanwhile, Lucasfilm has yet to confirm if Obi Wan Kenobi has been greenlit for a second season but everyone who worked on the show including McGregor himself are convinced that the series will return for Season 2.When you think about Star Wars the name Luke Skywalker instantaneously comes to mind and its quite astonishing how the beloved Jedi continues to be involved in the franchise through the MandoVerse. Since making his hair raising return in The Mandalorian Season 2s finale Luke has become somewhat of a fixture in the MandoVerse and it was even rumored that he will be headlining his own Disney+ series.
