Law & Order: SVU Fans Object To Rollisi Scene Being Cut For Peacock

NBC cut a brief but important moment involving Carisi and Rollins in the Law & Order SVU season 24 premiere episode and fans are not happy about it.

Law & Order SVU season 24 premieres brief scene about Amanda Rollins and Sonny Carisi was cut in the Peacock version of the episode and fans are not happy about it. The longest running scripted live action series on TV returns for the new year. But instead of a simple outing  Law & Order SVU season 24 episode 1 titled  Gimme Shelter  Part Two  is part of the three way Law & Order crossover event with Law & Order Organized Crime and their parent show Law & Order.

For Law & Order SVU's part the outing saw Olivia Bensons squad working on a case. Unfortunately during the process one of her own Rollins was shot in the abdomen while protecting a teen girl. The injury she suffered seemed to be dangerous so much so that her former partner current boyfriend ADA Carisi was worried that she was dead. He was consoled by Benson herself who reminded him that Kelli Giddishs Amanda Rollins who is exiting the series after 12 seasons is strong and because of that she would get out of her predicament.

Carisi's emotional scene where he expressed his concern for Rollins was, unfortunately, cut from the version of the Law & Order: SVU episode that aired the next day on Peacock. This has caused a backlash from the fans, as seen in the comments section of the GIF of said bit released by Wolf Entertainment's official Twitter account.
