Jennifer Connelly spoke about the easy intimacy she shares with Noah co star Russell Crowe earlier this year.
And the pair looked very comfortable as they posed on the red carpet at the biblical blockbusters US premiere on Wednesday night. Crowe 49 and Connelly 43 smiled hugged and even paused for a quick kiss on the cheek at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. Between a suited and booted Russell Crowe wearing Giorgio Armani FYI and Emma Watsons spectacular Oscar de la Renta gown Jennifer Connelly had competition in the style stakes at the New York premiere of Noah.
But Jennifer has got friends in high places. Her dress the runway version of which is pictured right was custom made for her by Louis Vuittons Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière himself. And Jen and Nic go way back she modelled in a Balenciaga campaign when he was at the helm and she has even been his date to a few fashion nights out. Her red ankle boots were also by the label and she carried a bag by you guessed it Louis Vuitton. Although it wasn't just any old bag, it was one of the Petite-Malle bags we have been coveting for a while now.
The Fall 2014 collection was Ghesquières debut at Louis Vuitton, but we loved it. Just when we thought we had seen every variation of the little black leather dress, he had to go and mix things up a bit. The clash of textures with the asymmetric knitted skirt is perfection, and although its a look thats hot off the runway some great alternatives have already hit the high street.Crowe is a single man after separating from wife of nine years Danielle Spencer in 2012.
The couple have two sons together Tennyson and Charles. Connelly looked chic on the red carpet in a long sleeved black leather dress with a deep tweed hem by Louis Vuitton. The structured look hugged the thin stars body and showed off her perfectly toned pins. She teamed her dress with red patent ankle boots and a black clutch by the same designer. The actress opted for a casual side parted hairstyle and natural make up.
